The test is done on a computer and can be done using touch screen or a normal mouse. After the multiple choice section you will be given the option of having a 3 minute break before you start the second part of the test which is the Hazard Perception test...... hazard perceptionThe Hazard Perception test was introduced in November 2002 and was designed to make learners aware of of potential dangerous situations that may arise on the roads and adopt a driving plan to reduce the risk of accidents. The Hazard Perception test begins with a short video clip that shows you how the test works and how you identify the potential hazards on the road. You will be presented with 14 different video clips which feature every day road scenes. in every clip will be at least one developing hazard, but one of the clips will contain 2 developing hazards. To identify a hazard can be done by pressing the mouse button when it has be sighted. You will be marked out of 75 for the test 45 being the pass mark PRACTICALWhen we feel that you are ready and confident on the road we will book your practical test. We will provide you with mock tests and plenty of practice to make sure you are fully ready for your test. The test lasts for 40 minutes where you must demonstrate to your instructor that you have full control of the car, are aware of all actions of other road users and also that you are able to deal with unexpected circumstances. You will be expected to drive on busy roads and dual carriage ways and also execute maneuvers such as 3 point turns, reversing corners and parallel parking. You will be marked on many aspects of your awareness and driving skills so it is important to remain calm and relaxed. So Good luck!!!
